Our experimental field station

Our 20-hectare Anecoop Experimental Field Station near Valencia is the most important private trial centre of its kind in Europe and the only one to combine experimental knowledge with real application on farms. We analyse the properties of some 500 varieties of fruit and vegetables to see how we can improve them and develop new products that cater for current consumer tastes and demands.

We encourage innovation across the board, from production (extending the production calendar, improving product flavour and uniformity) to developing new products (coloured peppers, mini-products, flavour specialities). Our agricultural engineers coordinate production programmes and keep our member cooperatives up to date with the latest developments.
