Quality processes

Our Quality and Systems Department is involved in a number of innovation projects aimed at supplying greater quality products which are more environmentally friendly. These projects include the following:

- Optimisation of post-harvest processes for fruit, vegetables and salad stuffs
- Optimisation of the use of conventional fungicides
- Study of post-harvest treatments involving food additives as an alternative to the use of conventional fungicides
- Environmental improvements: reuse of fungicide suspension to reduce toxic waste
- Optimisation of cleaning and disinfection processes
- Testing new storage technologies to be applied on an industrial scale
